Tubifex earthworms can be purchased from most seafood stores and they are consumed by most if not all little seafood. Tubifex earthworms are develop in unclean and viruses packed huge that comes together with the earthworms so it is essential to wash them under water before providing them. Otherwise, you will be placing a lot of these things into your water!
Some people stay away from tubifex earthworms because they are thought have a high possibility of providing condition to seafood that consumes them.
There are also freeze-dried sterilised tubifex earthworms available in containers by means of little compacted pieces. When providing these, they are very mild so you can give these pieces a mild press in the water to help them take in water and mess up. (unlike freeze-dried bloodworms, lock up dry tubifex are easily approved by fish)
